Starter cultures
The sourdough starters in "LB Bulgaricum" bear the trade name LBB. They are one of the most important ingredients in the production of Bulgarian dairy products, which is why the specialists at El B Bulgaricum pay special attention to them. In the Research Centre of the company a unique collection of more than 1000 species of lactic acid and bifido bacteria is stored, enriched and studied, some of which are included in the composition of more than 100 different combinations of starters.
The sourdoughs offered by LB Bulgaricum are: single strain, multistrain and mixed, which have not been subjected to genetic modification. Depending on customer preferences and wishes, each starter can be offered as a DVS starter.
